Ras Mapper issue: Depth*Velocity map wrong in 2D domain

Alquier
I'm currently working on a 1D/2D model by lateral structures.
So my 2D domain is everywhere behind the river banks.

I have noticed my Depth*Velocity map from Ras Mapper is wrong in 2D domain (see pic).
The 2D values aren't continuous and aren't the right order of magnitude.

But in 1D domain they are.
My Depth*Velocity¬≤ map have the same issue.

Have anybody noticed that as well ?
What should i do to have a current Depth*Velocity map from Ras Mapper ?

Thank you for your help.

Re: Ras Mapper issue: Depth*Velocity map wrong in 2D domain

The RAS Lad
D*V is only meant to be viewed as a max extent. As it is taking the max D*V for the whole duration of the model. It would require a load more processing to show it for every timestep in RASMapper.

There is a warning regarding this in the 2D manual and more notes on it

All right, thank you for your answer The RAS Lad.
I've found out the information you talked about in the 2D Modeling Users Manual, chapter 5 in Adding Results Map Layers for Visualization.
This is good to know !
